We handle those everyday tweaks like hemming, shortening sleeves, shaping the waist, and smoothing the fit through the hips and shoulders. You get to stop fighting your clothes and actually feel good wearing them.

You’re not being too picky. When something feels “almost right” on you, it’s usually a perfect candidate for alterations. If your pants drag or bunch, your blazer pulls or feels boxy, your jeans fit in one spot but not another, or your uniform or vest never sits quite right, it’s worth bringing in. Once you see your own clothes pinned on your body, the difference is obvious.
And if tailoring isn’t the right move, we’ll tell you. We’ve told plenty of customers to return something for a better size, so their time and money go into pieces they actually love to wear.
Most standard alterations only take one visit. We’ll pin and mark everything while you’re wearing it, you’ll leave the item with us, then come back to pick it up once it is ready. Needing a second visit is rare, and usually only happens with “project” pieces, like special linings, tricky fabrics, or beaded and embellished clothing.
If we ever need you to stop back in for a quick retry, we’ll say so upfront, so the whole thing stays easy for you.
Most standard alterations take about a week. You drop your things off, we pin and mark them while you are here, then you swing back to pick them up, ready to wear. If you are on a tight timeline, we can usually rush items for a small add‑on per piece. Depending on the item and the work involved, we can do same‑day (preferably if you bring it in before midday) or next‑day.
When you come in, we’ll walk you through the timing and give you a clear pick‑up window, so it just feels like a simple checkmark on your to‑do list.
Yes. If a piece is not worth the cost or effort, we will tell you.
If we can see that the changes you want will not really help because of how the piece is made, we explain that. There have been times when we suggested returning it instead and choosing a better size or a different style, so any alterations you do later are easier and fit you better.
Our goal is to help you make a choice that feels good, whether that means altering the piece or deciding to skip it.
For most everyday fittings, you do not need to overthink it. Just bring your clean clothes and wear something comfortable that is easy to change in and out of. If we are hemming pants, skirts, or dresses, it helps a lot if you bring the shoes you plan to wear with them, so we can pin the length to match how you actually walk and stand.
Most fittings for a few items take around 5–10 minutes. If you bring more pieces, it can take closer to 15–30 minutes, since we go item by item to set clear notes and expectations. Little details, like bringing the shoes you will actually wear, help us get the fit just where you want it, so you can walk out feeling relaxed and taken care of.
You don’t need an appointment, you can just walk in with your clothes.
For everyday alterations, bring your clean items by whenever it fits your schedule, and we’ll pin, mark, and get your order set up with you there. If you have a big stack of pieces or a very specific time crunch, you can always give us a quick call so we can point you to a quieter time to swing by, but most of the time, you just walk in, we sort everything out, and you are good to go.
